the Pope leads a torchlit procession to the amphitheater each Good Friday.

over the crestline every minute, it is the most powerful fall in North America.

Description: The Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge that connects the city of
San Francisco to Marin County. The Golden Gate Bridge was the largest suspension bridge
in the world when it was completed in 1937. It carries six lanes of vehicles, pedestrians,
and bikes. Today, it is a major tourist attraction; it is known all over the world as the
symbol of San Francisco.

Description: The Empire State Building is a 102-story skyscraper in New York City,
and is one of the Seven Wonders of World. The tower rises to 1,250 feet at the 102nd floor,
and its full structural height (including broadcast antenna) reaches 1,472 feet.
It was the first building to have more than 100 floors.
It remained the tallest skyscraper in the world for a record 41 years.

Description: The Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world.
It was built by a force of 22,000 on the order of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a
mausoleum for his wife Mumtaz Begum. The cost of the Taj Mahal's construction was
about 50 million rupees, which is roughly 500 million American dollars.

Description: The Great Wall is a Chinese fortification that was built to protect the
various kingdoms from raids by Hunnic, Mongol, Turkic, and other nomadic tribes.
The Great Wall is the world's longest man-made structure, stretching over 3,948 miles,
with a thickness ranging from 15-30 feet. It is visible from outer space.

Description: The massive Akshardham Temple consists of 234 ornately carved pillars,
9 ornate domes, and 20,000 sculptures and statues. The temple is 141 feet in height,
316 feet in width, and 356 feet in length; it was constructed without steel.
It was built over a span of five years, by 11,000 volunteers.
