Food/Drink: Like most cafes, the focus here is coffee. They have a good sized selection consisting of the usual espressos, lattes, mochas and iced drinks. These can all be customized with an assortment of toppings. Their house blend has even won an award. Some coffees, such as their Snickerchino, have become quite popular with the customers, which is expected seeing that they are executed extremely well. Since Lalajava is an independently owned business, it can order beans and serve them in the same week, rather than relying on a warehouse of goods. This results in fresher coffee than the rest. If you don't like coffee, there are many other options. They have smoothies, tiki teas, lemonades, and both hot and cold chocolates. Food-wise, they have the basics of muffins and bagles, as well more unique things like kettle corn.

Service: Nothing special here. Some employees are kinder than others, but they have an overall average service.

Ambience: A nice jungle theme, but it is very small. If this place is ever croweded, it can start to feel awfully cramped. There is outdoor seating, but being located on Route 9 doesn't help the outdoor scenery.

Prices: Usually about equal, if not a tiny bit more, than the usual coffee shop. However, they are valued appropriately for the quality of their drinks.

Unique:
  • Cold Hot Chocolate
  • "The World's Best" Kettle Corn
  • Drinks for any weather or occasion
